Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Lifegame app and to this website. It does not apply to third-party services you may use alongside Lifegame, except as those services relate to distributing the app.

2. What data Lifegame uses

Depending on the features you use, the app may store: your chosen energy level; today's tasks and their status; custom tasks and their settings; goals and goal steps; calendar entries and notes; game progress and world history; achievements; and app, reminder, and widget settings.

Lifegame does not diagnose you or automatically analyze how you feel.

3. Where data is stored

Most Lifegame data is stored locally on your device in the app's storage.

To power the home screen widget, a small amount of data is written to system storage shared between the app and its widget.

This website can remember your language choice in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage so the next visit can open in that language. That is only a language preference. The website does not use analytics cookies.

4. No account

You do not need to register to play. There is no Lifegame login, and the app does not send your tasks, goals, notes, energy check-ins, or world progress to a Lifegame server.

5. Analytics and crash reporting

The app does not include built-in behavioral analytics or crash reporting that sends data to a Lifegame server.

6. Home screen widgets

Widgets can show Lifegame information directly on your device's home screen. Task titles and your daily check-in can stay hidden. If you turn them on in widget settings, that information may be visible to anyone who can see your home screen.

7. Notifications

If you turn reminders on, Lifegame schedules local notifications on your device. Regular reminders do not require a push notification server. Notification permission is requested only after you enable a reminder.

8. Postcards and sharing

Lifegame can create an image of your current world. An image is saved to your gallery or shared with another app only after you take an explicit action. When you choose Share, you pick the app yourself.

9. Deleting data

You can delete Lifegame data by clearing the app's data in system settings or by uninstalling the app. Images you saved separately to your gallery may remain on your device. Your device may also back up app data using your operating system's backup settings.

10. Children

Lifegame is not directed at children.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated with the app. The current version is always available here.
